PUBLISHING CENTER: Publishing Center is looking for volunteers with clearances to work with students in grades K-2 to edit their short stories. The project will begin with 2nd grade classes the week of March 11: Ms. Petriccione Monday 3/11 9:50-10:35am; Ms. Brown Tuesday 3/12 10:40-11:25am; Ms. Melchor Thursday 3/14 9-9:45am; Ms. Doctor Friday 3/15 1:10-1:55pm. SQUARE 1 ART: Square 1 Art is a unique opportunity to celebrate your children’s artistic accomplishments while raising funds for the school. Coming home in mid March will be your child’s custom catalog featuring their artwork. You will have the opportunity to purchase keepsakes for the whole family containing their artwork. MARCH MADNESS ICE CREAM SOCIAL: March Madness is for 5th and 6th grade students who submitted a book report to Mr. Perlman by Thursday, February 28, 2019. Thank you to the 5th and 6th grade families who volunteered to donate supplies to both the March Madness basketball game as well as the Ice Cream Social. We need a few 5th and 6th grade parent volunteers with clearances to help at the ice cream social from 1:30 to 3:00 on Friday March 8th. 5K: Scheduled for April 13th this year, and will also include a 1.5 mile walk for those who don’t want to go the full 3 miles. We are looking for donations from small businesses to sponsor this event. HELP WANTED: The PTO Board needs help to make our fundraising events a success. We are looking for a few people to go to local businesses seeking donations for events like BLINGO and the 5K.
