On your marks…get set…GO!! Fundraising for the 5th Annual Race for Education officially starts TODAY!! Our goal is to raise $$$ (LOTS of money) as a community by Monday, November 2, 2015. On that day, our kids will lace up those sneaks and RACE on behalf of all the generous donations received! This event is the PTO’s biggest fundraiser to support our students & teachers throughout the school year. The purpose is to raise funds for teachers and their classrooms, Gold Card Nights, Reading Night, field trips, assemblies, and other essential educational needs.
In order to “go green”, we will be using for donations but paper forms are available by request and through the Virtual Backpack. Families that collect $50 in donations by October 15th will get a Race t-shirt for each of their Overlook children.
In honor of Yom Kippur, all Abington Schools will be closed on Wednesday, 9/23.
